Dry Ark LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the dryark.com website and the ControlFloor product. We are committed to keeping your personal information minimal and private. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.
The personal information we collect and store is your name and email address. This information is provided by you when you make a donation, purchase a license, submit the contact form, or otherwise communicate with us.
When you purchase a ControlFloor license, we also collect and store the device type (e.g. "iPhone 15") and UDID (Unique Device Identifier) of the iOS device(s) the license is assigned to. This information is used exclusively for license verification — confirming that a valid license exists for a specific device. It is not used for any other purpose, is not shared with any third party, and is kept private.
We do not collect browsing behavior, analytics data, device fingerprints, or any other tracking information through our websites.
We use your name and email address solely to:
Device type and UDID collected for ControlFloor licenses are used solely to verify that a valid per-device license exists. This data is never used for tracking, profiling, or any purpose other than license validation.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.
From time to time we may contact you about open-source project updates, ControlFloor releases, or important announcements. If you prefer not to receive these communications, simply let us know at contact@dryark.com and we will promptly remove you from all non-transactional messaging.
Donations are processed by Stripe. ControlFloor license purchases are currently processed through Shopify during an interim period, and we are transitioning to Stripe for all future purchases. In every case, your payment details (credit card number, billing address, etc.) are submitted directly to the payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
Each processor's handling of your payment information is governed by their own privacy policies: Stripe Privacy Policy, Shopify Privacy Policy.
ControlFloor is an on-premises product. It runs entirely on your hardware and your network. We have no access to your devices, your data, or any information processed by the software. No telemetry, analytics, or usage data is transmitted to us.
We retain your name, email address, and any device information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described above, or until you request removal. If you would like your information deleted, contact us at contact@dryark.com and we will remove it promptly.
Our websites do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts.
Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
